Wayne Tapscott has been involved in the business community for over 45 years, having operated a General Motors dealership with his brother and a commercial supply company with his son.  He currently partners with his brother in real estate development/management and serves as a director in a community bank.    Wayne has served on several church teams and non-profits over the years, including an orphanage in Namibia, Africa and helping to start a school in Harford County for children who learn differently.

 Wayne believes in investing in others by building a spirit of trust, respect, compassion and family. He shares that he has been the recipient of that same investment, many times over.   In 2012 when a rather traumatic event joined several already challenging situations, he found himself immersed in a cloud of depression.   It was the Christ-like love and investment of friends, family and professionals coming together to support him and his family that fostered the return of hope and subsequent healing. 

Sally, Wayne’s wife of over 40 years, has been a constant source of encouragement and support not only to him, but just about anyone she encounters. She has created a home that is one of love, warmth and welcome.  “I am so very thankful for getting to “do life” with Sally “
